Community Guidelines
Community guidelines are a set of rules and guidelines that have been created by the W-Birds team to ensure that we keep our users safe and the environment we provide in safe and respectful for all those involved. We have created an environment to assist with helping various parties and it is important that we come together to help build a platform where people can trust. Our guideline assists you on how to manage your behaviour and ensure that the interaction you have are positive and ensure those values are upheld.
1. Core Values
Treat others how you would like to be treated.

We know how challenging it is to look for work and we under stand the difficulty of moving to other countries to find work. We aim to encourage others to show other empathy and mutual respect where everyone’s time and effort is mutually respected in a professional manner.
Be a good human.

There is nothing wrong with showing more kindness. Offer support if and where you can and enhance the community building spirit. Share resources and tips and build a welcoming environment.
Show integrity.

At W-Birds, we pride ourselves on integrity. Being a honest and trustworthy person is what helps keep our community safe. Ensure that the information you provide is honest and accurate and avoid deceitful behavior. If you are unable to fulfill a role or you have filled a role , be honest with the community.
2. Zero Tolerance Policy
We have a Zero Tolerance policy to ensure that the safety of the community is upheld . The following will not be accepted:

Misinformation – this may include any false, misleading, or inaccurate information shared within the community.

Spam Accounts - Spam accounts are those created to promote irrelevant or unsolicited content, often for commercial purposes, and not to participate genuinely in the community.

Bullying, Racism, sexism and any other discriminatory behaviour - Discriminatory behaviour includes any actions or speech that marginalize, belittle, or harm individuals based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, or any other characteristic.

Personal attacks - Personal attacks include any form of targeted harassment, insults, or hostile behaviour directed at an individual. This includes verbal, physical and emotional attacks.

Illegal activities - Illegal activities refer to any actions that violate local, national, or international laws, including fraud, hacking, and the distribution of illegal substances or services.

Explicit material - Explicit material includes any content that is pornographic, violent, or otherwise inappropriate for a professional community.
Failure to adhere to these can result in your account being removed and permanently banned from our systems.
3. When using the app to communicate
W-Birds fundamentally will streamline your communication style with the people you interact with through the app. This allows you to be effective in your job seeking capabilities. Its best to take a professional approach when discussing work related topics with a potential employees or employers. Be clear in your discussion and avoid ambiguity where necessary.

Abuse through our chat function can result in your account being removed from our system.

When using the apps rating systems:

The rating system plays an important role in ensuring that users are honest in what they have said about themselves. It allows others to verify their credibility and share with the community that either a Business is what is expected or that a jobseeker is able to meet the criteria of job requirement.
However, if we find that ratings are untrue or of defamatory nature, we may remove the rating based on the outcome of an investigation.

Respect and Inclusivity: Treat all members with respect and foster an inclusive environment. Discriminatory behaviour, personal attacks, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Accuracy and Honesty: Provide accurate information in your profile and communications. Honesty builds trust and credibility within the community.

Reporting Violations: If you encounter behaviour that violates our guidelines, report it to the moderators. Your vigilance helps maintain the integrity of our community.
